On Friday, April 10, 2026, the IRT Chamber proudly organized a historic ceremony at the BOML CFS Custom Terminal to inaugurate the Gabd-Rimdan International Transit Corridor under TIR. This landmark achievement marks a new era of regional connectivity and trade facilitation between Pakistan and Iran.


On arrival at BOML CFS-Terminal, the guests of honor Mr. Sana Ullaha Abro, DG, Directorate General of Transit Trade Karachi & Director Transit Trade honorable Mr. Rashid Muneer Siddiqi were received and welcomed by Rana Asif Khan President IRT Chamber, and presented a bucay to the guests.

The corridor was inaugurated by Mr. Sana Ullaha Abro, Director General, Directorate General of Transit Trade Karachi, along with Director Transit Mr. Rashid Muneer Siddiqui and President IRT Chamber Mr. Rana Asif Khan.
Chairman PNC-ICC honorable Mr. Tariq Rangwoonwala and a legendary logistician honorable Mr. Shoaib Siddiqi were also grace with their prance to this historic moment collectively achieved, by IRT Chamber, FBR, DTT & Participating TIR Operators, for the Country of Pakistan.
The presence of Director General & Director of Transit – DTT Karachi underscored the collaborative efforts between the Directorate General of Transit Trade and the IRT Chamber in operationalizing this vital trade route through dispatching first two refer trucks under TIR by Broad Peak Logistics (Pvt) Limited, via Gabd-Rimdan transit corridor to Tashkent.

(TIR Operators) for choosing BOML Custom Facility to start the maiden operation to inaugurate new transit corridor.
