TRADE ALERT: OPENING SOON OF GABD-RIMDAN ROUTE UNDER TIR

It is expected that land border Gabd-Rimdan (Choki-250) in Makran Costal Zoon between Pakistan and Iran is expected soon to allow for crossing International Traffic in Transit under TIR.

Already Karachi – Quetta – Taftan route is open of bilateral and international traffic. This route is about 1500 Km from Karachi. And the other hand Gabd-Rimdan (Choki-250) border crossing is at the top of Makran Coastal Highway which is just about 800 Km from Karachi. Opening of Gabd-Rimdan (Choki-250) route defiantly will curtail the travel time and cost of doing business. This route will also provide a bridging between the Gwadar and Chabahar Sea Ports.
